Cancel Netflix account in 4 steps
It is the favorite activity of many: watching Netflix. The streaming service is updated weekly with new films and series and there is something fun for almost everyone. Yet it may be that you do not have time, or that your taste differs from the offer. Luckily, canceling Netflix is very simple and works like this:
- Grab your phone, open the browser and log in to the Netflix webpage. Enter your username and password if you are not logged in yet;
- Open the menu on the left by pressing the three dashes and choose ‘Account’;
- Scroll down and choose ‘Cancel membership’;
- Confirm your choice by clicking on ‘Complete cancellation’ in the next window.
You will now see at the top of the screen until when you can keep watching Netflix. You will also receive an e-mail at the address you linked. You cannot cancel via the Netflix app. As soon as you go to your account here, you will still be forwarded to the web version of the streaming service.
The streaming service can be canceled monthly, so that you are always ‘tied’ to the subscription for a few weeks. You can renew your membership at any time. Do you share a Netflix account? Then the other family members can also continue to watch in the meantime.
Cancel Netflix trial subscription
New customers can try Netflix for free for a month without being tied to anything. If you prefer to ignore the films and series, it is important to cancel this trial subscription in time.
If you are too late with this, the package will automatically be converted into a paid membership. If you do not use Netflix for more than a year, your data will be automatically deleted.
