Samsung Galaxy A72
Although Samsung’s Galaxy A5x phones usually sell the best, the ‘7 series’ is always the top model of the A-series. After the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A71, it is up to the Galaxy A72 to continue the line.
The device seems to be a refinement of its predecessor this year. In terms of design, the innovations are subtle, but a look at the first camera specifications does not bring any surprises. So we mainly expect a Big Phone that has been further developed and optimized on all kinds of fronts.
The 64-megapixel main camera will probably offer a better sensor than the camera with the same resolution last year. The same may also apply to the wide-angle lens and the front camera.
Moreover, you can expect that the Galaxy A72 – just like the A71 – will benefit from Samsung’s new update policy. The device will therefore receive three major Android upgrades, in 2022, 2023, and 2024. It makes the A72 a real Galaxy – a great all-rounder, which secretly scores a lot of points in all areas.
Galaxy A72 price and release date
We do not yet know when Samsung will present the renewed A-series. The Galaxy A72 is expected to debut more or less at the same time as the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy A52 – at the end of 2020, or very early in 2021.
The price for the Galaxy A72 4G will be somewhere around € 450, while you will pay € 100 more for the A72 5G. But beware: we do not know whether both models will actually be released in the Netherlands or Belgium.
