Vodafone has started the roll-out of One UI 2.5 for the Samsung Galaxy S20. With this software, The Samsung Galaxy S20 receives One UI 2.5 series gets access to new functions of the Galaxy Note 20 (Ultra).
Samsung Galaxy S20 receives One UI 2.5
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra have been available in stores since this morning. These top phones come with the new One UI 2.5. That is the new software from Samsung based on Android 10.

In addition to the good news that these phones are now on sale, there is more good news. Vodafone now also provides the Samsung Galaxy S20, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with One UI 2.5. This makes the Galaxy S20 series the first to receive this new software shell.
New in One UI 2.5
All the new One UI 2.5 features of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can be found on the Galaxy S20 phones after the update. There is the wireless version of the DeX software, the improved Pro video mode, the possibility to change the duration of ‘Single recording’, and more. It is also possible to use Android 10 navigation gestures in third party launchers.
These are the firmware versions G981BXXU4BTH5, G986BXXU4BTH5, and G988BXXU4BTH5 for the 5G versions of the Galaxy S20 phones. Vodafone is now rolling out the new software via SmartSwitch. Not yet via an OTA update. The update is also not yet available for unbranded S20 phones and T-Mobile branded S20 phones.
