Google has posted a teaser about the Pixel 4a in its online store. This mid-range phone will be announced on Monday, August 3.
Google Pixel 4a teaser
The Google Pixel 4a is finally getting an announcement date. Google has mentioned the date on this page and later hidden the text with black bars. 9To5Google managed to intercept the original image and you can find it below.
Would you like to conjure up this image again? Then you have to tap on the different boxes until the colors match the Google logo: blue, red, yellow, blue, green and red.
Then the text “Just what you’ve been waiting for phone” comes up. The Pixel 4a is, according to Google, the phone we are waiting for.
More clues
In addition to this web page, Google has also provided a number of social media accounts with the teaser. See also the Made By Google Twitter account. This image also shows a hole in the corner.
This may refer to the camera notch on the Pixel 4a. The text on the aforementioned web page also contains the words ‘megapixel’, ‘lowlightena’ and ‘bokehus’. Those are of course references to the camera, the spearhead of Google’s Pixel series.
The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a were launched during Google I / O last May. It seems that Google also planned this year, but that the corona pandemic threw a spanner in the works. Furthermore, we think we already know that Google will not release an XL version of the Pixel this year. The tech giant would only release a Pixel 5 and a Pixel 4a and 4a 5G this year.
More specifications
The Google Pixel 5, like the Google Pixel 4a 5G, would work with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, which comes with 5G support as standard. The Google Pixel 4a would be equipped with a Snapdragon 730 chipset. You can read more about this new middle class in the articles below. An overview of all news about the Pixel 4a can be found here.
