Mobovi has announced its new TicWatch CD2 Plus, and it is a minor upgrade to its TicWatch C2. The new watch comes with two leather straps and 1 GB of RAM for an accessible price.
Mobvoi TicWatch C2 Plus official
Mobvoi has launched a new Plus variant of its TicWatch C2. The new Wear OS watch is a minor update to the affordable smartwatch that introduces 1 GB of RAM instead of the 512 MB on the original. Mobvoi’s watch thus comes on par with newer smartwatches like the Fossil Gen 5 that come with 1GB of RAM. The TicWatch C2 Plus also brings an extra silicone strap in addition to the leather strap that was already available with the original watch.
The TicWatch C2 Plus still has a round AMOLED screen with a size of 1.3 inches and a resolution of 360 by 360 pixels. The watch is available in a single size of 42.88mm. The new TicWatch still includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor along with 4 GB of storage, so it doesn’t get the newer and more economical Wear 3100 chipset.
Last year we were able to test the original TicWatch C2, and where the watch really excels is its value for money. You get a lot of functions with this watch that you normally find with more expensive watches because the TicWatch C2 Plus comes with: a heart rate sensor, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, NFC, and IP68 water resistance.
The TicWatch C2 Plus is available in the colors Onyx Black, Platinum Silver and Rose Gold from 209.99 euros. An arrival in the Netherlands has not yet been confirmed by Mobvoi. What do you think of this affordable Wear OS watch? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
