The Nokia 7.3 is HMD’s mid-range device that can succeed the Nokia 7.2, and now we already get to see more images of the smartphone. It has a very recognizable design compared to Nokia 3.4 and 5.4.
This year we still did not receive a successor to the Nokia 7.2 from 2019, and it is not the first time that we see that successors to Nokia devices have been delayed. The launch of the Nokia 9.3 PureView was recently delayed to 2021. For the time being, it is also not clear when we can expect the Nokia 7.3, the mid-range device that is placed below the 8.3 and 9.3 5G.
Nevertheless, images have now been leaked by NokiaPowerUser. We immediately notice the similarities compared to the Nokia 5.4 and 3.4 announced this fall. The smartphone has a screen with a camera notch in the left corner and at the bottom, there is also still room for the Nokia logo. The back of the phone is not visible.
HMD CEO Juho Sarvikas already revealed that the smartphone will work with 5G thanks to the Snapdragon 690 processor. It will then be Nokia’s second 5G phone next to the Nokia 8.3 5G. Sarvikas also hinted at a screen with a high refresh rate of 90 or 120 Hz. That should make the animations on the panel smoother. The screen is rumored to have a size of 6.3 inches.
Rumors also speak of a camera setup with four lenses. There is a 48 MP or 64 MP sensor as the main camera and a 12 MP wide-angle camera. We also expect a 2 MP depth camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The phone may get ZEISS lenses.
In terms of price, it is expected to cost 399 euros. The 7.3 is expected to receive another 3 years of security and version updates from Nokia; the device would fall within the Android One program. It is striking that the 7.3 would still appear with Android 10. We also got to see renders of the Nokia 7.3 earlier. Are you looking forward to the Nokia 7.3 launch?
