Poco has announced its most affordable phone yet: the Poco C3. The phone has three rear cameras, an HD display and at least 3 GB of RAM.
We recently got the launch of the Poco X3 NFC in the Netherlands, and that was a budget device that was available with a 64 MP camera and the new Snapdragon 732G processor from 22 €. Now Poco has presented an even cheaper device in India: the Poco C3. XDA Developers know that. In fact – as always with Poco – it is a rebranding of a Xiaomi phone. In this case, we see broad lines of the Redmi 9C that is already for sale in the Netherlands from 99 euros.
The new Poco C3 has a 6.53 inch LCD screen that this time comes with an HD resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen has an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a water drop notch. In addition, there is also room for a 3.5 mm audio jack in the plastic housing, but there is no fingerprint scanner.
Performance and camera
Furthermore, we know that the new Poco phone will come with MediaTek’s 2.3 Ghz Helio G36 processor. There will also be two different models: with 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage and also one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage. If we then look at the battery, we find a 5000 mAh unit that you charge with the micro-USB port. The C3 comes with the Poco Launcher that runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 shell and Android 10.
On the back, the C3 has three camera sensors: a 13 MP main camera with an f / 2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth camera. At the front is a 5 MP selfie camera.
The Poco C3 was recently announced in India, but nothing is known about its arrival in the Netherlands. Converted, the phone with 3 GB of RAM would cost about 87 euros. You pay 104 euros for the variant with 4 GB RAM. The phone comes in Arctic Blue, Matte Black and Lime Green colors.
