Samsung has launched a phone with a monster battery. The Galaxy F62 with 7000 mAh battery is available in India, but may also make an entry into the market with us.
Samsung Galaxy F62
After several rumors that passed, Samsung has presented its Galaxy F62, XDA Developers reports. The phone comes with a very large 7000 mAh battery, but there are also other specifications that are very eye-catching. First of all, there is a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a notch in the middle. The panel has a Full HD resolution, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a brightness of 420 nits. The device also has a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microSD slot.
If we look at the performance of this phone, we remarkably find the Samsung Exynos 9825 processor. That is Samsung’s high-end processor from 2019 that got a place in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. That processor will come without a 5G modem. There is also 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM available along with 128 GB of storage. The battery is of course a 7000 mAh unit and Samsung also delivers 25 watts faster in the box.
On the back, this F62 has four camera sensors. The protagonist is a 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor, followed by a 12 MP wide-angle camera. The phone also has a 5MP depth camera for taking bokeh photos and there is also a 5MP macro camera. Finally, in the front you will find a 32 MP front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy F62 comes with Android 11 out of the box and already works with Samsung’s One UI 3.1 software shell that appeared with the Galaxy S21. In India, where the phone is announced, it will cost 272 euros. According to rumors, the phone will also come to us on the market, but under the name ‘Galaxy M62’. If that is indeed the case, the price of this phone is expected to be higher.
