Phones used to have a battery of just above 1,000 mAh. Meanwhile, we have to leave that time behind, among other things by more powerful chipsets and larger screens. This time Samsung has a phone under construction with a huge 7,000 mAh Samsung Galaxy M41 Battery.

Although a 1,000 mAh battery was sufficient for most of the phones until a few years ago, that is a completely different story nowadays. High-end phones have moved from batteries in the 2,000 to 3,000 mAh segment to giant 4,000 mAh batteries.
In practice, the phones no longer last, but the higher power requirement of all components in phones is met. Batteries are also getting bigger with midrange phones; Motorola and Samsung lead the playing field, with batteries of around 5,000 mAh.
Batteries larger than 5,000 mAh are usually found in tablets, such as the 7,040 mAh battery in the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite – or even a 10,000 mAh battery for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 +.
Nevertheless, Samsung is preparing to release a phone with a 6,800 mAh battery, according to a Chinese 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) test report. According to Sammobile, this is a battery for the Samsung Galaxy M41, a midrange phone.
Earlier there were rumors that Samsung had canceled the Galaxy M41 and that the Galaxy M51 would take its place. Given that the 3C certification process for the M41 has been completed, it still seems that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy M41.
OnLeaks first showed some CAD-based renders of the Galaxy M41 in March. Few details of the device have been leaked; there was, it was previously known, a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel present on the phone.
Although the device has passed the necessary certification procedures, that does not immediately confirm that Samsung will actually launch the phone. If that is the case, the chance is in any case small that the phone will become available in the Netherlands or Belgium.
However, that is not certain and that will have to be evident when the M41 is launched. Among others, the Galaxy M21 is released in the Benelux. Would you like to see the Samsung Galaxy M41 appear in the Benelux? Let us know in the comments below the article.
