The first card you add is immediately set as the default card. You can adjust this via the settings on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.

You do this on the iPhone and iPad as follows:

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  2. Under Transaction preferences, choose Default card.
  3. Now select the pass that you want to use by default.

This is how it works on the Apple Watch:

  1. In the Watch app, go to Wallet and Apple Pay.
  2. Under Transaction preferences, choose Default card.
  3. Now select the pass that you want to use by default.

Here’s how it works on the Mac:

  1. Go to System Preferences > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  2. Click Default Map at the bottom.
  3. Choose the correct card here.

You can set a different default card for each device. If you still want to choose a different card while paying, tap your iPhone on the screen while playing and choose the other card. On the Apple Watch, swipe to the side to choose a different card. If you pay via the Mac, you choose a different card in the menu.

If you have several cards from the same bank, the only way to recognize them is by the four numbers on the card. You view the four numbers by tapping the card. These are equal to the last four digits of the account number to which the card belongs. There is no option to give each card its own name or design. At ABN AMRO, the four digits are not the same as your account number, so you have to remember which numbers belong to which account. By adjusting the order, you can remember in which order the cards of your account numbers are. For example, put the card of the account number that you use the least at the end.
