OnePlus introduced its new product strategy this year, along with the launch of the OnePlus Nord. However, it won’t be limited to one budget phone. In benchmarks, specifications of an upcoming low-end device, the ‘OnePlus Clover’, have come out.
For the first time in years, OnePlus is back in the segment with ‘affordable phones’, first with the OnePlus Nord, and in the near future possibly with a device called ‘Clover’. Earlier, the Android Central team already knew the necessary specifications of the budget phone. This time, the leaked details have been confirmed, MySmartPrice concludes in an article about the OnePlus Clover.
Through the popular benchmark application Geekbench, details about the possible OnePlus Clover have come out. According to the benchmark results, the phone carries ‘BE2012’ as the model number. Based on details released by Geekbench, it can be determined that the phone contains a Snapdragon 460 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 1.80 GHz. Outside the chipset, the Geekbench page reports ‘3.54 GB’ RAM, which equates to 4 GB RAM.
Android Central was previously able to report that the device contains a hefty 6,000 mAh battery. You could change this with an 18-watt fast charger. Apart from the battery, it was previously announced that a 6.52-inch screen, with an HD + resolution (1,560 x 720 pixels), is present on the device. It is likely that OnePlus opts for a 60 Hz refresh rate. Whether it is an LCD or AMOLED panel is a matter of concern at the moment.
All specifications point to a device with a low price tag, from the HD + screen to the 13 MP sensor and two 2 MP cameras, and the delivery of ‘only’ 64 GB storage memory. As for the price of the phone, consumers can expect to pay around 200 euros. OnePlus has never been able to offer such an affordable device in the past. Even the ‘cheap’ OnePlus X was sold within Europe for 269 euros.

Also, let us know which functions you would like to see on the device. Mind you, these are of course rumors. OnePlus has not confirmed these specifications, so there is nothing else to do but wait for the official launch before we can check the boxes.
