Xiaomi has presented its new Mi Watch Revolve along with the Mi Smart Speaker. Xiaomi unveiled the smart watch and Google Assistant speaker at a launch event in India.
Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve
Last year, Xiaomi released its very first smartwatch with WearOS: the Mi Watch. This time, the brand announced a second Mi Watch at a launch event in India: the Mi Watch Revolve. XDA Developers know that. With that, the brand says goodbye to Google’s operating system for watches and opts for its own software.
In fact, the Mi Watch Revolve resembles Huawei’s Watch GT2 range in many ways. Not only do we see this in the round-shape design, which no longer takes inspiration from the Apple Watch, but the similarity is also evident in the specifications.
The Revolve has a 1.39 inch AMOLED display with a brightness of 450 nits and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The watch is 5 ATM water-resistant, which means that you can dive up to 50 meters deep. The Mi Watch Revolve can also track 100 different activities, measure your heart rate, and analyze both stress and your sleep. Just like the Watch G2, it has a battery life of 14 days and it comes with built-in GPS.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker
The Chinese tech company is also launching a new smart speaker with Google Assistant proposed: the Mi Smart Speaker. This one comes with a large ring of LED lighting on the top that can show any color. In addition, the two microphones are specially equipped to hear your commands from long distances and at the top, you can operate the speaker with touch buttons. The new speaker also comes with a 65.3mm driver. Interestingly, the Mi Smart Speaker supports both Bluetooth and Wifi.
The Mi Smart Speaker and Mi Watch Revolve were released in India in the first place, but nothing is known about the availability in the Netherlands or Belgium. The Mi Watch Revolve costs 128 euros and for 46 euros you have the new smart speaker.
